Directions to Riding Area:
The riding area is known as "City Park". Formally, it is "Emma Long Metropolitan
Park". The fact that it is located on City Park road is cause for the nickname. Here is a link
to a map that you can zoom in and out on to help you find the exact location in Austin.
From Dallas - Come down I-35 South until you reach 183. Make a right on 183 which takes you
back to the West (Northwest). See "All" below...
From Houston - Come West on 290 until you reach 183 (Anderson Lane E.). Make a right on 183
which takes you to the West (Northwest). You will cross I-35 next. See "All" below...
All - Traveling West (Northwest) from I-35, the next major landmark will be the Mo Pac Freeway.
Continue on 183 until you reach Loop
360. Exit and make a left onto Loop 360 which will take you back to the West (Southwest). Continue on Loop
360, toward Lake Austin, until you reach Hwy 2222. Make a right on 2222 which will take you back to the West
(Northwest). Continue on 2222 until you reach City
Park Road. Take a left on City park Road and follow it until you reach Emma
Long Metropolitan Park. Once in the area, look for signs leading to the motorcycle riding
area.
What to Expect:
The parking area is white crushed rock. Large, for easy turn around, and accessible when wet, the
parking area is surrounded by trees and a sheer rock face on one side. It makes for a nice pit area with Porta-Potties
for your convenience.
